Students work in pairs and groups to discover the effect of milk, lemon juice, water and 'a control' on pieces of apple. Working Scientifically skills are discussed and developed including comparative fair testing. There is an option to include scientific knowledge e.g. pH levels, vitamins, plant classification etc.
