By Teaching the curriculum in a variety of outdoor settings the Ernest Cook Trust immerse children in the natural environment while following their own curriculum links, with the aim of making every visit experiential, meaningful, relevant - and fun.
The Trust – a land owning, educational, charitable trust - offers free, individually planned school visits to its estates, led by trained and professional Education Officers. Outdoor day visits, forest school sessions, residential visits, professional development for staff and INSET training days all take place daily on Trust land, based in Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Dorset and Buckinghamshire.
The aim is that every school child of any age can experience the joy of being outdoors on a regular basis as part of their school life and learning.
