Dynamic Dunescapes: shifting sands

Dynamic Dunescapes is an ambitious partnership project, rejuvenating some of England & Wales' most important sand dunes for people, communities and wildlife supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and EU LIFE programme. The concept of dune rejuvenation is still relatively unknown and conventional management remains that dune systems need to be stabilised particularly for flood and coastal protection. These resources will support educators to explain the new approach to natural 'dune dynamics' and the importance for wildlife conservation in Europe's habitat most at risk from biodiversity loss.
