Amersham Field Centre is situated on a 30 hectare site of woodland, meadows, heath and ponds surrounding Amersham Substation and within the Chilterns AONB. The centre accommodates two well equipped classrooms, a yurt, cloakrooms and toilets. There is access throughout for people with disabilities. We provide day field trips for students of all ages, primarily in geography and science subjects.
The centre is part of the Field Studies Council (FSC) which is an environmental education charity dedicated to helping people of all ages to experience the environment at first hand; to discover, explore and be inspired by the natural world.
FSC Centres are all operating in a fully Covid-secure way, following Government guidelines. Find out more on our website: https://www.field-studies-council.org/fscs-procedures-for-covid-19/
