Sandfield Farm is a 70ha family run mixed farm. There are many historic features including a Saxon Road and medieval ridge and furrow. Permissive footpaths, which link to existing public rights of way, provide views of Dumbleton Hill, Broadway Hill and Bredon Hill. Provision of a variety of breeding and foraging habitats within some of the arable fields encourage farmland birds such as yellow hammer, lapwing and skylark. Restoration of hedgerows, orchards and a pond further increases the diversity of Sandfield Farm offering a range of interesting topics for discussion as well as providing a valuable habitat resource for wildlife.
