Rowelstone Court is a family run dairy, sheep and beef farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. As well as the grassland and arable required for the farm animals a third of the farm is woodlands, with permissive footpaths to the old limekilns. A wealth of historic features include a twelfth century castle mound, site of an Iron Age hill-fort and a listed Welsh longhouse. Orchard, hedges and grassland are being restored as part of the Environmental Stewardship Scheme. The family also make ice cream with the milk from their own cows. There is a viewing area and a Gelateria. There are good facilities for less mobile visitors.
