Caenbrook Farm is a 22 ha farm varying in height from 131m to 175 m. It had been intensively cultivated with close clipped hedges, very clean and tidy. Since 1993, when the current proprietors arrived, the field has been grazed. A free range chicken shed was built and the hedges have been left to grow and are now being laid and or restored in rotation. The conservation area is rich in plant life and there is a wildlife pond and the River Caen. All this work has resulted in an increase in wildilfe.
