Sustainable Farming Teacher CPD

Are you a head of A Levels? Do you teach A Level Biology, Environmental Science, Geography or Business Studies? Or simply want to know more about sustainable farming and how to embed sustainability into the curriculum?

Then why not join LEAF Education Specialists Bobbie Harvey and Elizabeth Lake for a fully funded teacher CPD out on farm for the launch of the latest A Level Resources created by LEAF Education and AHDB.


There are two dates available :

Beaudesert Park Farm in Staffordshire  - Wednesday 27th November,  to book go HERE.

A traditional working family farm, keeping rare breed White Park cattle, poultry, a goat and growing cereal crops. We are proud to combine modern farming methods with conservation and are highly experienced at tailoring visits individually to meet the needs of the National Curriculum for all key stages. The Allerton Project in Leicestershire - Friday 13th December , to book go HERE

The Allerton project is  a LEAF innovation Centre researching the effects of different farming methods on wildlife and the environment. The Allerton farm is a commercially run mixed arable and game farm.  For more information about the research they do go here: https://www.allertontrust.org.uk/


Both days will include:

  • An opportunity to trial new teaching resources and equipment for both the classroom and during field work,
  • Enjoy a farm walk led by farmers and researchers and discover the support available to embed sustainability into the curriculum,
  • Improve your own knowledge of sustainable farming the latest strategies being used by farmers to tackle climate change,
  • Take a free resource pack away,
  • Apply for the opportunity of winning a fully funded farm visit including coach bursary for your class.
  • Lunch and all refreshments included.
