School Food Matters will be taking its mission to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May with a special show garden that celebrates children’s access to nature.
The very best part of this exciting project is that, once the show is over, the garden will be relocated and reimagined at two primary schools - one in London, the other in Liverpool, giving the children and their communities a magical space to learn about plants and nature.
The charity has some inspiring stories to share in the build-up to the big event. Hear from those at the centre of the project and mission, including the children, teachers and school gardeners, as they explain how having a school garden would ‘bring the curriculum to life’, the mental health and wellbeing benefits of spending time in nature and why every child should have the
opportunity to grow their own food.
