Countryside Classroom

Our partners the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) and LEAF Education have teamed up to bring a suite of 8 Exam Specification A level resources to life, linking back to food production and farming.

The resources are designed to be used by teachers in school to aid with curriculum links, real life examples and interlinking with pre-existing subject matter.

Each resource will take between 40 -60 minutes classroom time to deliver, with additional fieldwork time.

Each pack contains:

  • Teacher notes
  • Accompanying PowerPoint
  • Student activity sheet(s)

Some resources have adapted field studies, that can be used on a field trip to a farm, to aid the learning experience. All resources have been trialled and tested by teachers, both in the classroom and out on farm!

Check them out HERE

Fancy attending a teacher CPD session out on farm to see how the Environmental Science and Geography resources can be used?

LEAF Education are delivering a funded teacher training day to showcase the environmental Science and geography resources and update on the very latest sustainable farming strategies being used by farmers.
