The Secrets of Soil

Garden Schools is an educational programme developed by One Seed Forward and the School of Education in the University of Aberdeen. Its aim is to involve schools in being active participants in creating a physical space that can be used to increase outdoor learning and educate pupils in the benefits of growing their own food.
In this module the materials explore the structure and chemical processes in soil and make connections between soil types and nutrition of different vegetables.
