Southdowns Bunkhouse at Houghton Farm

Southdowns Bunkhouse is a residential facility with 4 dormitories sleeping 20 max, a communal kitchen area (with additional sofa bed) and a self contained classroom/meeting room for 30+.

Situated within walking distance of Amberley train station and the river Arun, the bunkhouse is surrounded by farmland, and provides the perfect base to explore the southdowns.

Day and residential visitors are welcome to enjoy a tractor and trailer ride around the farm, learning how farming and food production can work alongside nature. Activities along the ride can be designed to meet specific curriculum needs for all key stages.
