Scout Adventures Gilwell Park, situated on the London-Essex border on the edge of Epping Forest, offers 108 acres of beautiful woodland, amazing activities, lodges and camping. Less than 25 minutes by train from central London and just 8 minutes’ drive from the M25, the location of Gilwell Park means that the great outdoors, and a great adventure, is within easy reach of the capital and beyond. Gilwell Park is the home of Scouting in the UK. We welcome visitors from all over the world to this historic site. Of course, whether you’re involved in Scouting or not, Gilwell Park is open to all. Our friendly staff will work with you to plan your visit. We offer a range of flexible options to help you get the most out of your time on-site and beyond. Our instructors are skilled at working with a wide range of groups, both young people and adults, and will work with you as little or as much as you need. If you have specific learning or training outcomes, just speak to us and we can advise what activities will best suit your requirements. We’ll work with you to make sure you and your group achieve all of your objectives.
