Situated in the centre of Dove Holes and lying just outside of the Peak District National Park, Old House Farm is a 50ha upland dairy and beef farm that has been in the Burton family for around 100 years.
The holding features many points of interest, including: traditional dry stone walls and agricultural buildings still in use; species-rich meadows; 17th century lime kilns; and old cave dwellings said to of been inhabited until the 1800’s.
Milking occurs twice a day, and as calving happens throughout the year there are always young calves to see.
