We farm 1500 acres around the North side of Beverley. The farmland is predominantly a typical Holderness landscape with large productive fields intersected by a network of drainage ditches. We do not have any livestock on the farm. We grow wheat for a variety of markets; bread making, biscuit making and animal feed. We grow oilseed rape for vegetable oil and bio fuels. We also grow peas for Birds Eye. This farm is run under conventional farming (as opposed to organic). We use ‘Integrated Farm Management’ which means we do not use any chemicals etc unless they are needed.
