Hatherland Mill Farm lies within the River Exe floodplain a few miles to the north of Tiverton. We have 20 pedigree Dexter cattle and 3 Belted Galloways along with a flock of 25 Greyface Dartmoor sheep. These are all traditional breeds at risk. There are also a number of free range chickens and a trio of cashmere goats. There was a mill recorded on the site in 1286 and the current house dates from the 15th century. Management is designed to encourage wildlife including laying hedges and building otters
