The Field Studies Centre is based in a restored and extended 16th century barn sited in our beautiful parkland. The centre is fully accessible and a wide range of courses on landscape, ecology, natural history, life in the 18th century and the history of the Antarctic and Africa are offered to students from schools and colleges and are led by professional staff.
The great diversity of the area lends itself to the development of cross-curricular themes, and programmes are designed for all ages and abilities, providing ideal opportunities to enhance and enrich the National Curriculum.
