The Dean Field Studies Centre is Bristol City Council Department of Education and Lifelong Learning's residential centre for Outdoor and Environmental Education in the Forest of Dean. The Forest is a place of great natural beauty and provides an extraordinary variety of opportunities for Outdoor and Environmental Education. The Centre is based in a converted, Victorian iron works in the village of Parkend.
