Scenic area of ancient woodland and farmland beside the upper reaches of Hamble River. Stroll along pathways or go for long country walks; at low tide watch a variety of water-loving birds as they search for food in the salt marsh creeks; enjoy a picnic or book a family barbecue in one of the two picnic areas that include children's play furniture and plenty of space for ball games.
The educational activities are focused on and around the farm. However, the varied landscape of the Country Park, including the ponds, hedgerows, woodland and tidal shoreline of the River Hamble, offer a remarkably diverse yet compact outdoor classroom for self-guided field study.
