Situated on the site of a Domesday manor and Chantry College Foundation medieval times, Church Farm is set amidst 40 acres of rolling parkland. With ancient woodlands, flower filled meadows, pond, stream and tumbling waterfall, it is totally secluded from the noise and hustle of modern life. Now farmed mainly for wild conservation purposes, the fields are grazed by cattle and meadows yield hay.
Andrew Cooper is a distinguished BBC wildlife television producer; the valley and its wildlife continue to feature in many wildlife programmes. Educational visits by all age groups are welcome.
