Pupils of all ages and abilities can visit the greenhouses, Victorian kitchen garden, historic Hall gardens, dairy farms, 'dumble' and ponds, animal care and equestrian units to explore life processes and living things through first-hand experience. They can learn about food production and care for the countryside while taking part in exciting activities linked to the National Curriculum, QCA units, GCSE and A level themes. University staff are often available to share their expertise with visiting schools and welcome the development of links with teachers.
