The Ponderosa Rural Therapeutic Centre was founded by a group of people who wanted to bridge the gap. Disabled and disadvantaged children of all ages can come to the centre and engage in a variety of interesting and stimulating activities. Walks and guided tours are available - and a huge selection of pursuits all based around our rare breeds, greenhouses, Reptile Room and lakes. Ponderosa are very happy to accept group or class bookings, and offer a wide choice of activities to teachers and group leaders. We have educational guided tours, and tours through our wildlife walks and activities in animal welfare/husbandry and pony rides. The farm also houses an abundance of livestock which includes wallabies, llamas, pot-bellied pigs, emus, snakes, goats and rabbits to name a few.
