Scales Farm is a mixed family farm, the main enterprise being a 90 cow dairy herd and followers. The CSS is being undertaken to diversify the arable cropping area and modify the grazing system. A major part of the farm is old Buckenham Fen, which is lightly grazed in summer and has both reed beds, woodland and a varied array of flora and fauna. The farm is also intersected at various points by The Old Buckenham "Circular Walk" footpath. A teacher's pack is available on request.
