The farm is an educational centre and curriculum resource. Participation by all students is actively encouraged. The aim is to stimulate curiosity, interest and enjoyment of animal husbandry and horticulture. There are cattle, sheep, pigs, laying poultry, broiler chickens and turkeys kept and all the farm sells its own produce.
Sharnbrook School Farm is run by Sharnbrook Upper School and provides support for the Science Curriculum, also courses leading to GCSE Rural and Agricultural Science and GNVQ Foundation and Intermediate in Land and Environment.
