While efficiently producing wholesome food, a philosophy called Integrated Farm Management (IFM), is used to take great care of the natural environment. IFM seeks to harmonise nature and the science of food production, ensuring pollution is minimised, the landscape is enhanced and wildlife habitats that produce bio-diversity are encouraged.

Aishe Barton is a 490 acre arable farm located just north of Exeter on the spectacular Exe Valley. I have been managing the farm for nearly six years in partnership with my parents, Michael and Pamela, having taken a conscious decision to leave surveying and make my living by farming. My big passion is managing the wildlife and landscape to the best of my ability and I want to marry this up with producing wholesome crops in a profitable way.
