Their fantastic Chilled Education hub has everything you need to produce fun interactive lessons all about food with lesson plans and resources for both primary and secondary to inspire future food scientists.

"We launched CEd over 10 years ago to inform, educate and inspire children in all areas of our dynamic and diverse chilled food sector. We believe there should be more food in science teaching and more science in food teaching.  We have worked with industry and education specialists to create a wealth of resources from lesson plans linked to the curriculum across the key stages, to store cupboard science experiments, career profiles and more.  We aim to inspire young people about food science and raise awareness of careers in the chilled food industry, supporting teachers and students

The chilled food industry employs more than 100,000 people in the UK, makes 15,000 different foods, and is expanding at around 5% each year and consequently there is an urgent demand for high calibre students and graduates with a passion for food!
