Strawberry Hill Farm

Strawberry Hill Farm

Strawberry Hill Farm is made up of 90 acres of grassland and about 25 acres of ancient woodland. It has a Grade II listed Farmhouse. It is within the High Weald National Landscape and is typical of the area's ancient farmsteads with lots of small irregular shaped fields. There are lots of opportunities for learning. We have a flock of 120 sheep, rising to about 300 after lambing. There are lots of hedges, wildflower meadows, bluebell woods, ponds, a young orchard, a vegetable garden, a large poly tunnel, chickens, a few geese, two sheep dogs and two cats. We sometimes have 2 - 3 pigs. We have a biomass boiler which uses wood from the farm. There is an oak framed barn which can be used for indoor activities. The farm is located about 10 miles north of Hastings, and about 2.5 miles from Robertsbridge.
