Dobcross Hall - Dairy Farm

Dobcross Hall - Dairy Farm

We are a working dairy farm located near Carlisle, Cumbria. We milk 550 pedigree Holstein cows, twice a day in a rotary parlour. We offer the opportunity to take a look at the day in the life of our dairy cows, meet the calves and explore the links between the milk we produce and our beautiful surroundings. We have a pond, orchard, hedgerows and wildlife areas to explore and get closer to nature.
We offer educational school visits for all keystages, delivered by a qualified primary school teacher. We will work with teachers to meet your educational requirements whilst providing fun, hands-on, exciting learning experiences for all learners.
We can host groups of up to 40. We have an indoor classroom with kitchen area, toilets, hand and bootwashing facilities.
We are CEVAS accredited, DBS checked and hold Food Hygiene certificates.
