Ley Green Farm presently supports cereal maize production and horse and pony grazed pastures. These areas combined with numerous boundary field margins, hedgerows and set-aside land support a good diversity of farmland wildlife. The HLS scheme seems to maximise benefit to farmland wildlife, particularly birds and invertebrates. The family business aim to achieve these objectives in a publically acccessible way without compromising either the high or low technology farming that they have practise for some decades.
