The Higher Level Stewardship agreement covers several reserves managed by Eastleigh Borough Council. The main base for educational access will be Lakeside Country Park. These restored gravel works offer the ideal day out for all, and have a range of birds, insects and small mammals as well as the occasional fox and deer. Lakeside and accompanying sites (which visits can be made to) are all managed with biodiversity in mind. This is balanced with the needs of visitors, user groups and the welfare of the animals used to help achieve this goal.
