The farm has been in the Lockwood family since the 1950’s and has changed little during this period. It is grazed by texel cross sheep and Lleyn ewes and we also have a small herd of Aberdeen Angus suckler cattle.
The farm has traditional wildflower-rich downland, areas of semi natural grassland which support more common meadow plants as well as more intensively managed grassland. An extensive network of hedgerows and mature trees add to the wildlife value of the farm.
