Strefford Hall is a 142 hectare (350 acre) family farm which is run under a farm conservation scheme. Located at the foot of Wenlock Edge, the farm is stocked with suckler cows, sheep, outdoor pigs and free-range laying hens. Cereal crops are also grown. Many farm products are sold through the farm shop demonstrating whole process of food production. There is evidence that there has been a settlement here dating back as far as the Bronze Age. Air photography has revealed crop marks that may be those of a ritual and funerary complex of late Neolithic/ Early Bronze Age.
