Old Orchard dates from around 1880 and covers approximately two acres. It contains about 45 varieties of apple and a few pears and plum trees. It is now being managed to conserve the varieties and a diverse wildlife is establishing which is encouraged by the management methods. The college has areas of mature woodland, part of which is close to the Orchard.
