Little Comfort Farm has 10 acres of mixed, organically managed, farmland in a valley running East West 4 miles from the coast. River Caen is 2-3 metres wide with mature alder lined banks and the valley bottom has wet grassland. The valley sides are steep with overgrown hedgerows, now being restored, and new field divisions. As well as evidence of past mining activity, there is scrubland and woodland and a line of leat which is used to supply the watermill. The farm also has a self catering tourist business and a coarse fishing lake.
