Wood Farm is a small livestock farm. It sits on hummocky middle sands moraine and enjoys spectacular views northwards across the Cheshire Plain. The physical features of the farm were created by glaciation. A traditional farming approach has been maintained for several generations and as a result field sizes have not been altered much during the last 100 years. Long-established hedges bound small fields. The farm has rich and varied flora, fauna and topography. Part of the farm adjoins the Quoisley Mere and is within the Midlands Meres and Moses Ramsar Site.
