The Outdoor Essentials Grant

The Outdoor Essentials Grant is now live and focuses on Secondary Schools, prioritising those in the Trust’s hub areas. 

The Outdoor Essentials Grant is an award to UK state-funded Secondary, including Special Schools that work with secondary-age children to enable them to get their pupils learning outdoors.

For the current round of funding, we are prioritising Secondary Schools with underserved pupils in areas of high deprivation within our hub areas postcodes:
Cumbria/Lancashire: BB, CA, FY, LA, PR
Glos/Wilts/Avon: GL, SN, BS, BA20, BA21, BA22
Leicestershire: LE

An award of £1,000 is offered to each Secondary School for the following options:

Nature & Nurture – school grounds improvements

Transport & Travel – transport costs to Outdoor Learning venues

Wellies & Waterproofs – outdoor clothing
