The RSPB's Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve and Education Centre is situated 2 miles from Pulborough village. We have a great variety of habitats to explore including woodland, grassland, wetlands, heathland, ponds and meadows. The reserve is teeming with wildlife, making it an ideal place for all ages to explore and investigate.
We've got a visitor centre and classroom which is well equipped with learning resources. The programmes, all of which are risk-assessed, are linked to the National Curriculum. We can accommodate up to 3 classes each day.
Pulborough Brooks' Schools on Reserves scheme has been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge which gives you the assurance that our scheme meets national standards of quality and safety.
Each programme is designed to last two hours; sessions run from 10 am to 12 pm and then 12.30 to 2.30 pm. Two programmes can be combined to make a whole day visit.
