Scobbiscombe Farm is a traditional mixed coastal farm in the South Hams extending to 440 acres (176 hectares) and is part of a larger farming business. We have 1000 ewes, some of which lamb at Christmas and some at Easter and 150 beef cows which provide calves for our beef fattening unit. We also grow wheat, oats and barley for animal feed and 60 acres of potatoes, most of which are sold in to major supermarket chains. Other enterprises include turkeys, chickens for eggs, and pigs.
