North Court Farm is situated on the banks of the river Stour, straddling the alluvial flood plain which is populated with a rich array of flora & fauna. This mix of wildlife ranging from lapwings to marsh harriers & water voles to brown hares is interspersed with floristic meadows & crops of wheat grown to make flour for bread, linseed for omega-3 oils & beans to encourage honey bees. Local Kent sheep peacefully graze these marsh fields which in the past have been witness to roman ships sailing by & medieval naval battles.
