Yoad Pot is a beef and sheep farm carrying 50 suckler cows and 520 Swaledale ewes on 180ha of which 88ha is moorland within the Lake District National Park. The remaining land is made up of pasture and meadow with Less Favoured Area status. The River Mint (Site of Special Scientific Interest) flows through pasture land where areas have been fenced off for natural tree regeneration and there is a Scheduled Ancient Monument medieval moated site on the holding as well as a sheepfold.
