Coldcot Farm is 264 hectares and is part of the Stourhead Estate. The land the farm is on is greensand and it is situated in an area of arable and stock farming. The farm was built in the 1700s and was originally a dairy farm. The farm is now converting to organic status and grows grass (naturally) crops such as wheat barley, oats and beans, mainly feed for the organic beef cattle on the farm. The farm is situated close to Whitesheet Hill, which is an S.S.S.I. There have been fields planted with wild flowers to protect the birds and butterflies.
