Abberley Care Farm

Abberley Care Farm is a small alternative provision offering therapeutic animal assisted interventions to support young people age 10-16. Many of our young people have special educational needs / are awaiting ASD / ADHD diagnosis and facing everyday struggles to access their education. Many have high anxiety, have suffered trauma, poor mental health etc. We are here to support the children, families and schools to help the young person to find their self worth, work on their social emotional wellbeing and become a part of a caring team to be able to achieve their best through animal care, land based, forest school, life skills, art and craft activities. We are not a school, children can come to the farm for a maximum of 15 hours per week, and our referrals come from schools or L/A. We aim to support our young people to access or return to education and help prevent exclusions.
