Countryside Classroom

The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts’ Adopt a School Trust and Table Talk Foundation are running a limited number of subsidised ‘Chef On The Farm’ sessions next academic year at their new training kitchen at Plumpton Land and Environment College. These sessions give the children a chance to work with a professional chef and a farmer. They will explore the working farm and dairy, learning about where their food comes from, how food is produced, the importance of a healthy diet. They will also learn and practice cooking skills in a fully equipped kitchen and make lunch for themselves and teachers on the day. The sessions link perfectly with the KS2 D&T curriculum. Please get in touch if you would like more information.
